After throwing the industry into a state of awe when her debut single “All Night Long” dropped on the Young Elephants imprint in February, sensational singer-songwriter Rochelle proved herself as a force to be reckoned with. With “All Night Long” generating more than six million plays on YouTube and eight million on Spotify, it’s evident that this immense debut was a leap forward into international territory.

Back again with another powerful piece of art, her latest single “Way Up” alongside dancehall artist Kalibwoy has proved this collaboration to be a match made in heaven! Both with Surinamese roots and a recognizable, raw approach to music, when the pair bumped into each other at the labels office, they began speaking about meshing their styles together, resulting in the innovative tune “Way Up.”
This sanguine and exotic number was written about Rochelle’s current situation, where she's loves spending time and being close to her family, being far from home working hard to make her "way up". The urban feel of the track is also portrayed in her new video-clip, where Rochelle is seen in her room as well as on a rooftop of a flat in Rotterdam.

Capturing a slightly mysterious and charming ambience, Rochelle and Kalibwoy have executed a hit that’s set to be an international success and will have these two names soaring on their ‘way up!’
"Way Up" by Rochelle, featuring Kalibwoy will be released on September 9th on Young Elephants.

Shockman is fed up with his live in the Netherlands and calls his Surinamese friend Boo-B to see when they can 'Pull Up'.
Shockman also calls his other friend Wolffman which at that time is in Surinam for an alternative bike tour across Surinam.
At the same time Boo-B and Wolffman are living the good life in Surinam and are on their way to a nice carribean poolparty, Wolffman however gets distracted and never get to the party.
Because Wolffman did not shown up Boo-B calls Shockman and invited him to the poolparty, Shock leaves the Netherlands immediately and is on his way to the Surinam goodlife.

Alles zit Shockman tegen in het grauwe Nederland en hij belt met zijn Surinaamse mattie Boo-B om te kijken wanneer ze weer samen kunnen ophooken "When We Pul Up'.
Ook belt Shockman met zijn andere mattie Wolffman die op dat moment ook in Suriname is voor een alternatieve fiets tocht dwars door Suriname.
Boo-B schijnt een leuke poolfissa te weten waar ook Wolffman voor is uitgenodigd, maar die wordt op de fiets echter afgeleid en vindt die hele fissa niet.
Boo-B belt met Shockman, die laat de boel voor wat het is en neemt meteen de plane naar Suriname.

Before the release this track already gained fame in several clubs and mixtape's world wide.
